Dorticos vs Tabiti, WBSS Cruiserweight Semi-Final & vacant IBF Interim World Championship:
Yunier Dorticos starts walking down Andrew Tabiti from the start of the first bell. Tabiti finally lets his hands go in the 3rd round and has a few good spurts. Not the most exciting fight but Dorticos is doing a good job moving forward, being aggressive and setting the pace of the fight.
Big clash of heads in the sixth round that severely cuts Yunier Dorticos right eye. The fight continues as Dorticos gets very aggressive coming forward blinking his eyes as he is having a hard time seeing his opponent clearly. After the referee warned Andrew Tabiti for holding several times, Tabiti gets a point deducted in the 6th round.
Yunier Dorticos Lands a good Short left to Andrew Tabiti belt line that the referee calls a low blow. Tabiti in need of rest milks the called low blow for some rest time. After 7 rounds, this has been a sloppy fight so far.
And just like that Yunier Dorticos knocks Andrew Tabiti out completely cold with a 1-2 combination in the 10th round. Huge Right Hand Shot.
Yunier Dorticos is the new IBF Cruiserweight Champion of the world.
