Just like a story line from the WWE, Tyson Fury goes from Heel to Hero. This oversized Bad Boy who talked more than anyone could listen, shocked us all by beating the long time reigning Heavy Weight Champion of the World Vladimir Klitschko. Then his world came crumbling down and he gained so much weight many believed he was done with boxing. Now two short fights later and probably 100 pounds he is set to fight Deontay Wilder for the World Title. But now instead of being The Villain it seems that he has turned the corner and became the baby face. It seems like no matter what he does or says we are rooting for him because he is a genuine underdog with an amazing comeback story. After watching the light hitting Steve Cunningham knock Fury down five years ago, I certainly didn’t believe that he would become heavyweight champion. Outside of probably the English fans, he proved most wrong. And while we waited for Wilder to finally fight some good competition, his fight against King Kong has turn him into a bit of a Baby Face and has increased his fan base. It will be very interesting if these two actually fight later on this year, with Fury probably needing another warm up fight and Wilder famously delaying and pulling out of fights, don’t hold your breath that this fight will happen in 2018.
