In the Hall of the Constitution of the Government Palace, the Governor of Sinaloa, Claudia Pavlovich Arellano, spent quality time with thirty three youngsters of the “Deputy Child for a Day” program, along with new World Boxing Council Super Flyweight Champion, Juan Francisco “Gallo” Estrada.
Stressing “Gallo`s” role model icon status, Governor Pavlovich said: “What I want to say to the children, is that they look to the example of our Champion. Everything is possible, and I am very proud that Juan Franciso is our world champion.”
Champion Estrada, who`s overcome so much, commented about the challenges of life. With sacrifice and supreme effort you can achieve all the aims and goals that you set.
“Very happy! As the Governor says, with the sacrifice, effort and discipline, you can and will achieve! When I was seven my Mother died. At fourteen my Father passed away, but with determination I`m here,” the Champion told the children, in a heartfelt way.
“Gallo” Estrada then presented Governor Pavlovich with the gloves with which he won the World Boxing Council Green and Gold Belt.
Estrada hopes to make a quick return to the ring fighting this summer in Mexico.
