Eddie Hearn is planning to bring Vasyl Lomachenko to either London or Hull for his ordered lightweight title fight against Luke Campbell.
The Ukrainian great has previously voiced his desire to return to the UK for a professional fight, having won his second Olympic gold medal at London 2012.
On Tuesday, the WBC decided to order Lomachenko (who is already WBA and WBO champion) to fight Campbell with the vacant WBC belt on the line as well.
This move took many people by surprise, but has now opened up the chance for the British public to see ‘Loma’ in action, potentially even in Campbell’s home town of Hull.
“Providing we can make a sensible deal, we’ll do that fight in the UK,” Hearn told iFL TV.
“We have to decide whether we go O2 Arena [in London] or Hull – the KCOM Stadium, we’d do 30,000 there.
“I don’t think Lomachenko knows where Hull is, but I don’t think he’s that bothered about where we’d go.
