World Boxing Council Super Bantamweight Champion Rey Vargas (33-0, 22 KOs) and Interim Champion Tomoki “El Mexicanito” Kameda (36-2, 20 KOs) were face to face for the last time before going into the ring at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, tomorrow Saturday.
Tomoki Kameda: “I’m ready, I’ve had a good camp, I promise to give a good show. All I have to tell Vargas is: you’re Mexican, right, then fight like one on Saturday. Lets see who has most balls in the ring. “Rey Vargas:” I do not talk much, but I’m ready. ”
Both warriors overcame the weigh in without any problem. The results of were:
