TYSON FURY facing Jarrell Miller is a “realistic” possibility after the drug-shamed heavyweight met with the Gypsy King’s US promoter Bob Arum.

Miller, 30, was in line to challenge for the unified heavyweight titles in New York on June 1 against Anthony Joshua – but a trio of failed drug tests saw his golden ticket ripped up.

Instead 25-1 outsider Andy Ruiz Jr stepped in and shocked the world as Miller watched from the sidelines.

But “Big Baby” sees his suspension expire in September, and has emerged as a candidate to face Fury on the Brit’s second fight in his £80million Top Rank deal.

Promoter Dmitry Salita, once looked after by Bob Arum, revealed Miller met with the Top Rank chief before Fury eased past little-known Tom Schwarz.

Salita told SunSport: “Bob was my first promoter and we have a very good relationship. Arum met with Jarrell the week of the Fury fight.

“He told me that Jarrell has a great personality and real star potential but no fight dates with any fighter were discussed.

“It would be a fantastic fight and an exciting promotion. I think that at some point in the future it is a realistic that can be a mega event – it is great to see so much fan interest in this fight.

“The focus is on taking the right steps to move forward in a positive way.

“We are working and exploring all possibilities on getting Jarrell back in the ring.”

After Fury battered an undermatched Schwarz in two rounds the Brit revealed plans to box in September or October in preparation for his rematch with Deontay Wilder.

Arum wants the Gypsy King to enhance his profile Stateside before challenging the WBC champion Wilder next year and Fury will return to the US at Madison Square Garden.

“Big Baby” Miller has thrown his name in the hat to face Fury in his hometown, and get a shot at redemption having missed out on an MSG mega-fight this month.

Miller said: “My suspension is up in September and I think October would be a great date.

”If I got the shout, I’d take it straight away. I’ve had conversations with Bob Arum already.”The two heavyweights have shared the ring before, with Miller sparring Fury in 2011 where the Manchester hero claims he floored the American seven times.Fury’s UK promoter Frank Warren has also confirmed Miller will be considered, adding: “Miller’s position is something we will look at. It will be someone out of the top five next.”
