This Saturday in the Small room at MSG, NYC 24 year-old Top P4P Jr. Featherweight Champion Isaac Zion Dogboe (20-0) will face 23 year-old Mexican Warrior Emanuel Navarrete Martinez (25-1) for 122 pound Gold.
It’s Ghana Vs. Mexico
In what promises to be a fight of the year, fire- cracker fight, Dogboe wants to uproot his opponent with the NeHo Chant. In Ghana, the NeHo Chant signals that the Warrior is ready to dominate. Champion Dogboe is very soft spoken, but when he recites the NeHo Chant,he turns into a Lion.
On the other side of the ring is another Warrior from a different continent. Navarrete is from Mexico where boxing and fighting and standing tall is the way of life. I can promise you that this will not be a give-me Fight for Dogboe. Navarrete’s only loss was a four round decision as a teenager, Navarrete fights 4 to 6 times a year and has knocked out his last Eight opponents. He not only has a huge height advantage (5 inches height advantage or 13 cm) but is also on a full six months rest. The last time Emanuel Navarrete had a six-month rest between fights was five years ago when he was only 18 years old.
This fight will be Broadcast live on ESPN this Saturday night, Get your Popcorn Ready!
