As the boxing world craves for the Big Three Undefeated Heavyweights to Fight each other, it seems that the more time passes, the further they drift apart. With ESPN now in the boxing game, we are getting None-Stop updates and news on the Big Three. While exciting at first (the first year), talking about the Big Three squaring off is getting a bit tiring as the reality is these fights are still faraway from happening.
The Big Three are now set in bouts for May & June. All three will fight in a 30 day time period between mid May and mid June.
Deontay Wilder will fight Dominic Breazeale (20-1) on May 18th in Brooklyn On Showtime.
Anthony Joshua will fight Jarrell Miller (23-0) on June 1st in MSG on DAZN.
Tyson Fury will Fight German Tom Schwarz (24-0) on June 15th on ESPN+
On paper these fights look great, The undefeated Big Three Fight Three opponents with a combined record of 67-1. Problem is records in the Heavyweight division can be very misleading.
The good news is all three heavyweights are fairly young and still have a lot of fight left in them. I do hope that the big three fight each other while still in there prime. This is the time were legends are made – are they willing to stop teasing and talking; And step up to the plate?
