Maxim Dadashev vs. Subriel Matias (Jr. welterweights)
What a terrific matchup between two undefeated contenders. Too hungry well trained Lions with the big knockout power ready to go to war.
Maxim Dadashev (Mad Max) starting off the fight by boxing in moving, Head trainer Buddy McGirt has him boxing intelligently. Subriel Matias is a young strong fighter who loves to come forward and turn matches into wars. Subriel Matias has a good chance of winning tonight, but he has to be careful not to change and walk into a deceptive power punch. Sometimes young guys think they’re too tough for their own good and forget to play defense.
Very good fight through three rounds and both fighters getting some good work done and both fighting their own style.
Subriel Matias has a small cut on the edge of his right eye which doesn’t seem to be effecting him thus far.
Round 4.
Mad Max easily won the round by boxing and landing clean on Subriel Matias. I do like Subriel Matias aggression and he has a big punchers chance in this fight.
Round 5.
Subriel Matias comes on strong and has his best round of the fight landing on Mad Max and moving forward. Matias throws punches with power from many different angles and has a very friendly fight style. Subriel Matias wants this fight, it’s getting exciting. 12 round fights are very telling and will give a detailed report on these contenders.
Round 6.
Subriel Matias continues his aggressive pace and dominates the last 30 seconds of the round. Mad Max’s corner and management have a concerned look on their face as an upset seems to be brewing.
Round 7.
Another good round for Subriel Matias as the judges are going to have to work overtime to find a way to give/ hand Maxim Dadashev these rounds.
Round 8.
Close round but I think Subriel Matias Gets the nod for me. I’m giving the round to the fighter, not the favorite and name recognition.
Round 9.
Now Subriel Matias is really separating himself now. Most exciting round of the fight as both guys throw non-stop. Subriel Matias looks a bit tired, the last three rounds will be interesting. Subriel Matias taking a lot of necessary chances as he is under pressure to impress the judges.
Round 10.
Subriel Matias has a terrific round and outclasses Mad max landing punches to the head and body. The referee warned Matias for a late hit after the bell which is actually a bit silly.
Round 11.
Subriel Matias dominates the round and trainer Buddy McGirt stops the fight as Mad Max says on the stool and doesn’t come out for the final round.
Winner by TKO – Puerto Rico’s Subriel Matias
Thank Goodness the Fight was stopped as Maxim Dadashev looks terrible walking out of the ring and needs some emergency medical attention.
Hopefully Maxim Dadashev is Ok
