8-ROUND ABO AMERICA’S CRUISERWEIGHT FEATURED BOUT

RICHIE “POPEYE THE SAILOR MAN” RIVERAvsBRIAN “MVP” HOWARD.:

After the singing of the National Anthem, Brian Howard comes into the ring with a 14-2 record wearing red trunks with gold trim and matching shoes. Richie Rivera comes into the ring with a perfect 10-0 record wearing a beautiful navy and gold rope with matching trunks and LeBron/ Nike navy blue snickers.

Main Event Time:

Round 1.

Howard lands a big right hand that hurts the aggressive Rivera. Howard almosts ends the fight but Rivera hangs tough and lands a good left to freeze Howard for a moment.

Round 2.

Both men coming out throwing big shots as Rivera gets mad a himself after walking into another shot. These guys are throwing some heavy artillery in there. Rivera having A good round as this fight is 1 round a piece. Howard has the Floyd Mayweather type defense which is allowing his to relax as Rivera is breathing a bit heavy.

Round 3.

Howard very gun shy as Rivera is winding up and throwing bombs. Rivera is leaving himself wide open for an easy counter shot, but Howard isn’t taking advantage of the opportunity.

Round 4.

Big left by Howard sends Rivera back. Now Rivera hurts Howard with a right. Both guys head hunting and not really going to the body. And Rivera lands two good right hand shots to the body. Exciting fight so far and a terrific evening of boxing by Star Boxing.

Round 5.

Howard lands a hard left jab that gets Rivera back peddling. Rivera fooling around and doing the Pernell Whitaker crouching defense. Close round but I give it to Howard as Rivera took off that round. 3-2 Rivera.

Round 6.

Howard not busy enough to win. He is looking for that one big shot, but he might not have the mustard left to hurt Rivera. 4-2 Rivera

Round 7.

Both boxers exhausted as Rivera continues to do good work.

Round 8.

And here they come down the stretch. Howard finally firing a bit. Rivera lands a looping left hand and then Howard comes back and lands some impressive combinations that hurt Riviera. Excellent round of action as Rivera keeps smothering Howard everytime he gets caught which is smart.

All in all good fight, a bit sloppy. Rivera is going to have to invest a lot of time in the gym not only getting in shape, but learning the sweet science.

8-ROUND ABO AMERICA’S WELTERWEIGHT FEATURED BOUT

DYLAN “THE REAL DEAL”MORAN vs DENNIS OKOTH:

After two rounds,  Moran looking good simply showing that he has better skills than Africa’s Okoth who fight by way of Silver Springs, Maryland. Moran is in tough but he is fighting tall and throwing punches at a nice pace not over expanding himself. Okoth has a few good moments in the second round.

Round 3.

Wow. What a round. Okoth catches Moran with a right hand that sends a badly hurt Moran down. Moran on shaky legs gets up and eats another big right sending him down again. The referee lets the fight continue and this time the undefeated Irish goes down hard causing the medical staff to to rush the ring.

“ACTION” ANTHONY LAUREANOvs

DIEUMERCI “ELPHANT” NZAU:

Laureano and Nzau after two good rounds, have a War in round 3 with Laureano getting the best of the Tough African Nzau. Nzau very susceptible to the right hand as Action has done a good job timing Nzau.

Nzau getting beat but having fun, dancing, showboating and doing his best to press the action.

Round 5. Laureano has another good round and traps Nzau in the corner and lands A barrage of punches almost causing the referee to stop the fight.

Round 6. Laureano dominating the fight now as Nzau hasn’t landed A meaningful punch in a few rounds. Nzau very distasteful as he purposely throws a left hand and lands clean 5 seconds after the bell during the taunting time.

Round 7. The referee has had enough of Nzau and stops the fight after a flurry of punches by Laureano. Nzau protests the decision to no avail.

Winner: ANTHONY LAUREANO

ANTHONY LAUREANO improves to 11-0

4-ROUND WELTERWEIGHT BOUT:

ROBERT DURAN JR.vs JERMAINE CORLEY:

WOW- what a first round slugfest as both guys come out sitting on their punches. These two men letting the leather fly in the Catskills. Corley is a very determined man tonight, as he looks to shake-up the apple cart.

Corley landing Big shots on Duran in the second round and easily won the round.

Corley lands a monster left in the third round that almost to Duran out. Duran doing his best but eating way to much leather.

Round 4. Corley landing big again as Duran holding on looking to survive. Duran is simply just getting out of work tonight by a better more determined boxer. Another big uppercut landed by Corley, and we go to the score cards as the crowds gets up and applauds a terrific four round fight.

4-ROUND CRUISERWEIGHT BOUT:

LAWRENCE KINGvs PEREZ AUGHTRY:

King comes out in the opening seconds and hurts Aughtry with a big right hand. Aughtry has a Herky jerky style, he almost bulrushes this opponent before he throws a punch. King landed good punches throughout the first round and got caught with a big right hand from Aughtry that hurt King in the closing seconds of round 1.

In round two King landed a few good combinations that caused the referee to stop the fight a bit prematurely. King improves to 2-0.
