1. Amanda Serrano
Amanda Serano has captured world titles in an unheard of seven different weight classes. She not only wins her contests but has won almost every round she has ever fought in. Her boxing skills power and especially conditioning are unrivaled in women’s boxing. Katie Taylor and Clarissa Shields have been in the #1 P4P spot for much of this year, but now there’s a new sheriff in town; and her name is Amanda Serrano.
2. Claressa Shields
Claressa Shields has been dubbed as the future of woman’s boxing. With Shields incredible accolades of world titles and Olympic gold medal‘s, there is no question that her time is now. Shields latest win was a very impressive dominant performance in Atlantic City against fellow middleweight champion Christina Hammer. In defeating Hammer, Clarissa Shields became the second woman ever to hold all major world titles in one division. Shields dedication and love for boxing should keep her on top of the 154, 160 & 168 Weights divisions for an entire generation.
3. Delfine Persoon
Delfine Persoon may have lost her last match in MSG on June 1st, but in many people’s eyes, she is still undefeated and a true fearless champion. No doubt that this amazing tough competitor is the best boxer in the 130 and 135 pound division.
4. Cecilia Braekhus
Cecilia Braekhus was the first Women’s undisputed world champion holding all the gold in the Welterweight division. Braekhus is an impressive 35-0 and is currently training with Abel Sanchez in Big Bear Lake, California. Braekhus doesn’t carry the power associated with a Top P4P boxers, but nonetheless belongs in the upper echelon of the Top female boxers.
5. Katie Taylor
One of the most talent boxers in Women’s boxing history, Taylor’s speed, power and fight style are breathtaking. Taylor is currently the undisputed lightweight world champion and is looking to move up to the 140 pound division. The public’s out cry for a rematch with (Delfine Persoon) have fallen on deaf ears as there doesn’t seem to be interest from Katie Taylor’s side to run the fight back. The Persoon / Taylor June 1st, 2019 match is considered the greatest women’s boxing match of all time.
6. Heather Hardy
Brooklyn’s Heather “Heat” Hardy has an impressive record of 22-0 and captured the WBO featherweight title with a terrific win over Shelly Vincent. Hardy will be defending her featherweight title in the co-feature Friday September 13, against Amanda Serrano @ MSG.
Serrano vs Hardy Note:
Amanda Serrano vs Heather Hardy will be taking place at MSG on September 13th. This will be a very exciting fight that many fans are looking forward to. Hardy is a great overall athlete, she has phenomenal abilities, but she will be in the ring against a pure Skilled Boxer. Great athletes historically have not done so well when they have been in a boxing match with a pure skilled boxer. Hardy has to be careful not to get caught with a big punch when backing up, or it might be a quick night of work for Serrano.
Katie Taylor Note:
It seems that Taylor is doing all she can to avoid the Persoon rematch. Serrano has been told and believes that she will get a shot at Katie Taylor if she beats Heather Hardy. I think/ believe that her and her promoter will be in for a big surprise as Taylor currently has no interest is fighting Persoon & Serrano.
Dream Match:
Amanda Serrano vs Delfine Persoon At 130 pounds is a dream fight and will hopefully soon be made. Serrano/ Persoon if made Should headline a major boxing card.
