Last weekend, Filipino fighter Manny Pacquiao, 40, served up and dished out a fight fiesta at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, adding one more significant and historical triumph to his brilliantly successful career, by defeating previously unbeaten American Keith Thurman, defying Father time.

Manny Pacquiao took time out, to pay an apt and  well-deserved tribute to Don Alberto Reyes, who died in January. Manny underlined and highlighted  the close relationship he had with Alberto, his family  and with the Cleto Reyes brand.

Significantly, Manny wore the gloves of this prestigious brand adorned with a black bow over the thumbs, in order to honor the everlasting memory of Don Alberto.

Industrias Reyes confirmed that Pacquiao was the one who requested the black bow to be placed,  as a sign of recognition, friendship and respect, because for many years of his career he has used “Cleto Reyes” for his combats, including last Saturday night, where he clearly showed his heavy handed prowess.
