1. Naoya Inoue

Inoue is the only True P4P Boxer today. He is in a league of his own and it’s not even close. He is dominating his fights and is so far better then everyone in his division. There is no greater distance between #1 and #2 then in the bantamweight division. Naoya Inoue’s P4P reign is similar to a Pacquiao, Mayweather and Ward in their prime. This is the best fighter in the current decade.

2. Errol Spence Jr.

Spence is ranked a bit to high for my liking but he has either stopped everyone he’s faced or dominated them. Until he has a long layoff like Keith Thurman,a mediocre performance like Keith Thurman or a young boxer catches fire, Spence will stay at the #2 spot for a while.

3. Manny Pacquiao

What can be said about Manny Pacquiao that hasn’t been said? Even with his eroding boxing speed and skills, one can argue he is still the best at 140 and 147 pounds. To think at his age that he is better then the top Welterweightswho are much bigger then himself is mind blowing.

4. Gennady Golovkin

GGG has had a Dream career that few in boxing history can claim. At 37 years old GGG is on the decline but still a force to be reckon with. Many believe he should still be undefeated as he clearly won the first Canelo fight and most see the second fight as a draw. GGG has been a bit inactive and is fighting a tune-up fight, but he gets the benefit of a doubt and stays in the top 10 because of his tremendous dominance.

5. Mickey Garcia

Mikey Garcia deserves a lot of credit for fighting Spence 12 rounds. Now it’s time to get his career back in order and keep showing he’s the best.

6. Vasyl Lomachenko

Lomachenko has a set of skills so rare, we frankly haven’t seen anything like it before. He is tremendous, but he hasn’t really tested himself by fighting bigger guys. He needs to fight Mikey Garcia before he can sell the reporters not linked to Top Rank what he’s selling.

7. Wanheng Menayothin

Menayothin also known as Chayaphol Moonsriis  is 33 years old and currently has a record of 52-0. This small Thai boxer deserves the respect (not goodwill) of being in the top ten.

8. Canelo Alvarez 

Canelo has come a long way and is often not given credit for his remarkable career and victories. With a victory of Daniel Jacobs this week, the sky is the limit for young Alvarez.

9. Danny Garcia

Danny Garcia’s performance against Adrian Granados has catapulted him back in the P4P mix. He could be the best Welterweight on the planet right now.

10. Leo Santa Cruz

Leo Santa Cruz has been setting the bar in the Featherweight division for a long time now. His size, combination punching and toughness make him a Unique and dominant force in the sport of boxing. Cruz maybe the most underrated boxer in the sport today.
