Frenchman Nordine Oubaali became the new World Boxing Council bantamweight champion on January 19th, by defeating American Rau’shee Warren with a wide decision victory , at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
With this triumph, Oubaali won the WBC bantamweight title, raising his unblemished professional record to 15-0, with 11 knockouts.
Team Nordine is working towards and meticulously preparing for the first defense of the WBC world crown, in June, probably in Morocco, where the world champion has roots.
At the moment Oubaali is training lightly to stay active, waiting patiently for the first defense of his WBC title.
