On June 1 of this year, we had one of the biggest boxing upsets/ Shocks in recent memory:

The Mega of Boxing hosting World Champion Anthony Joshua United State debut fight against little known Californian / Mexican Andy Ruiz Junior.

Andy Ruiz Jr. took the fight on short notice and stopped the chiseled Joshua sending social media around the world buzzing like few stories can. Ruiz became an almost household name around the world and being fat become cool faster then you can blink an eye.

Ruiz’s shock of Joshua built him just a global name that weekend its hard to fathom. Most Hall of Fame Boxers who competed for an entire career setting records, fighting on big networks and being heavily promoted did not reach the four corners of the earth like Ruiz did.

Make no mistake, Joshua vs Ruiz 2 will be a huge Mega Event. Andy Ruiz Jr. is one win away from being the biggest name in boxing and boxing’s poster Boy.
