Now retired and undefeated, as one of the very best in the sport, Floyd Mayweather, defended his WBC super featherweight crown after defeating Diego Corrales by TKO in the 10^th round. Corrales`corner threw the towel in,  after he was dropped to the canvass for the very first time in his career. The battle took place at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. The Referee was Richard Steele. The Judges were Jerry Roth, John Keane and Anek Hongtongkam.
