World Boxing Council light heavyweight international champion Nick Hannig of Germany will defend his crown against tough South African fighter Ryno Liebenberg on July 6.
Liebenberg has earned his challenger status, as he`s a former WBC Silver champion and is the current champion of the African Boxing Association (ABU). He comes from stopping compatriot Alfonso Tissen in just five rounds.
For his part, Hannig is hardly on the horns of a dilemma. He won the WBC International crown by defeating Canadian Ryan Ford, in February, which was a great fight held at the Verti Music Hall in Friedrichshain, Germany.
This card will carve out a segment of history, as for the first time promoter Alexander Petkovic will present a card at the Brita Arena in Wiesbaden.
