Former world champion Julio César Chávez Jr. will return to the ring on August 10th after more than two years of inactivity.
It could be in Puerto Vallarta, Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco or Tijuana. His rival will be the Colombian Evert Bravo, and that the function will be transmitted by Azteca 7.
Chávez Jr. (50-3-1, 32 ko’s), former WBC Middleweight world champion, will fight as super middleweight, and will return to the ring after his loss to Saul “Canelo” Álvarez, in May 2017 in Las Vegas.
His opponent, Evert Bravo (25-10-1, 19 ko’s) is a fighter with great international experience. 34 years old, and next to turn 15 years as a professional boxer. The Colombian height is 1.85 meters, which the same as Julio, and in his most recent fight in June, he knocked out Luis Gonzalez in four rounds.
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. has done an intense preparation of more than three months in Tijuana, guided by coach Romulo Quirarte.
The details of the fight, and the card, will be announced by Zanfer promotions during this week.
