In a night of upsets, Murodjon Akhmadaliev defeated Daniel Roman by split decision to win the  IBF and WBA super-bantamweight belts.

Also in a major upset, Jojo Diaz Rips the World title over 12 hard fought rounds from Tevin Farmer. Farmer got a hand injury in the first round and Diaz suffered a nasty cut on over his left eye. Both boxers were able to box the entire 36 minutes.
