In the world of boxing nothing looks like it appears and the layers of an onion sometimes is less then the layers of making a fight on the other side of the river with another big promoter or network.
Everyone wants to see the Crawford vs Spence fight. I actually think PBC has the top 3 or 4 Welterweights and doesn’t need Crawford.
So Bob Arum is telling the world that the ball is in PBC hands, talking about black and white and talking like a big man. Al Haymon should give him the same treatment. If Arum appears to be such a Matchmaker, a guy that crosses boundaries then propose a deal:
Let’s Make A Deal:
Haymon gives Arum a Welterweight to fight Crawford ( for example Spence) in exchange Arum has Lomachenko Fight Mikey Garcia or a fighter from PBC with a 50/50 split.
I think that is a very fair and exciting way to promote the sport. All make money and all are happy. If Arum wants something, he has to be prepared to give up something. Offer 50/50 to fight Spence isn’t enough, Top Tank isn’t in the drivers seat or in the position to give the offers and make the rules in the Welterweight division, PBC is in charge.
