Super Welterweight Southpaw PBC Prospect Raymond “Tito” Guajardo was suppose to have a pancake opponent in Clay “Cassius” Collard and shine live on FS1 in the co-feature boxing bout of the evening.
What was suppose to be a push over in Collard, was anything but. The bell rang and Guajardo wanting to have his coming out party by going hard after the Vegas boxer. What we got was the best round of the year action.
Guajardo goes down twice as he got hit hard to the head and body. Guajardo took some vicious shots. Then Collard jumps in to finish the fight and gets caught – gets hurt and goes down himself. Then Collard knocks Guajardo out on his feet, but the referee somehow lets the fight continue to the bell. The referee’s inefficiency let’s him eat a good right hook himself from Collard at the bell. All three men in the ring took punishment in round one.
In round two, Collard was a bit two much for Guajardo, as Guajardo for some reason doesn’t like playing defense or putting his hands up when boxing. Maybe he should have a different trainer then his father.
Congratulations Clay “Cassius” Collard!!!
