Gennadiy Golovkin (and yes the spelling is correct, GGG has recently requested the “i” be inserted into his first name) makes his much anticipated ring return at the Worlds Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden. GGG starts his relationship and contract with the DAZN App not only fighting, but bring with him a stable of boxers (under the GGG Promotions banner) to showcase their talents in front of the MSG fans:

Here we go- Main Event Time:
After the Canadian, Kazakhstan and United States Nation Anthems and fighter introductions, we get it on.
Round 1.
Good first round, GGG trying to force the action a bit and doing well. Rolls footwork and hand speed looks good.
Round 2.
GGG mixing his punches up very well going to the body with the right and the left and also using the uppercut. And here comes Rolls with some very good punches landing on GGG. Both fighters landing some very very heavy punches snapping each other’s head back. Rolls taking a lot of shots to the body, but he looks like he’s determined to land a big shot on Triple G. Excellent round of action
Round 3.
Another terrific round of action as Triple G is finding a home for his left hand and doing some phenomenal work to the body. Rolls is using his speed advantage and landing some good head shots on GGG.
Round 4.
GGG hurts Rolls with an over the top left hand and seconds later KO’s Rolls Cold.

Undefeated Ali Akhmedov of Kazakhstan looking very strong tonight again fellow undefeated boxer Marcus McDaniel who hails from New Orleans, Louisiana.
Ali Akhmedov Hurts and stops McDaniel in the 3rd round and improves to 15-0.
Winner Ali Akhmedov – Knockout
Brian Ceballo vs. Bakhtiyar Eyubov
Junior Middleweights- 8 rounds
It’s Brooklyn vs Brooklyn in a battle of unbeatens. What a first round as Ceballo shows his tremendous boxing skills and Eyubov shows his toughness as he throws punches from all angles a bit like Ricardo Mayorga. This is a terrific bout.
After two rounds it’s skills versus determination -something has to give.
After 4 rounds of action the MSG fans are really getting into this grudge match. A terrific back and forth fight with Ceballo taking advantage of his longer reach. Eyunov Working hard to get inside and often missing many of his punches.
Round 5. Wow -best round of the fight as both fighters are having their moments and landing very big. A tale of two different fighters both determined to win.
Round 6. Another action packed round with Ceballo landing more and Eyubov maybe landing harder.
Round 7. Another action packed round. The story of the fight besides the reach advantage of Ceballo is that Ceballo’s punches were mostly straight and Eyunov’s punches were wide.
Round 8. These two Brooklyn Warriors would have it no other way but to finish the fight in style. Very good performance by both boxers. I think Ceballo got the better of Eyubov and got a tremendous amount of experience from the fight.
Winner: Brian Ceballo
Brian Ceballo improves to 9-0
Israil Madimov vs. Norberto Gonzalez
Junior Middleweights- 10 rounds
First I want to point out that Mexican Norberto Gonzalez shouldn’t be fighting tonight. I don’t know how he got approved to fight tonight as he just fought 8 rounds last week. Norberto Gonzalez Won an 8 round unanimous decision over Alberto Pacheco on May 30th. This is a very strange quick turn around.
Uzbekistan’s Madimov has a good second round not only using his power right hand, but also using his left to the body of Gonzalez. Mexico’s Gonzalez taking Israil The Dream Madimov shots well in the early going and Gonzalez also doing some very good counterpunching and combination to work.
Madimov has a big 4th round first landing a short over the top left hook that Gonzalez didn’t see and after that landing multiple rights and lefts to the head and to the body -really dominating Gonzalez.
Round 6. Gonzalez goes down from a big right hand. To Gonzalez’s credit he gets up and keeps on fighting but Madimov keeps landing and the referee stopped the fight. Gonzalez took a lot of punishment.
Israil Madimov had a very impressive showing tonight at MSG. As his Competition gets better, Madimov Might not be able to afford to sit on all his punches as he often leaves his chin exposed for a counterpuncher.
Winner: Israil Madimov
