Srisaket Sor Rungvisai’s career has been nothing short of extraordinary. His rise to the top in the sport of boxing is better then a Disney Fairytale Movie.
After beating Roman Gonzalez in March of 2017, Rungvisai shocked the world six months later in the rematch when he destroyed Gonzalez and knocked him out in the 4th round. Roman Gonzalez Was universally known as the #1 P4P king of boxing.
Srisaket Sor Rungvisai has trained for his rematch with Estrada just as hard as any fight and is 100% ready, so why am I picking against the 33 year old Thailand native?
I’m predicting Rungvisai will lose by split decision for two reasons: The combination of age & wear & tear along with a fresh game Juan Francisco Estrada.
1. I think that Rungvisai has hit his peak and is now an inch, a centimeter on the decline. If this was the Rungvisai of 2017, I believe he would dominate the fight. But the 2019 Rungvisai is a warrior that has lost a step do to his many battles and every warrior eventually slows down a bit. In this game of inches, ounces and split seconds- sometimes that’s the difference between a win and a split decision loss.
2. Mexican Juan Francisco Estrada just turn 29 years young last week and is a bit fresher and is a top P4P boxer. He is a warrior and his time has come. Is he as special and rare as Roman Gonzalez- NO. Few on the planet were ever as good as Chocolatito, but Estrada can give as much as he can take with anyone. His time is now.
Srisaket Sor Rungvisai vs Juan Francisco Estrada is a Must See Battle.
