The Great Eder Jofre received a Special Green and Gold Belt at the fifty seventh World Boxing Council annual Convention Dinner, at the Grand Oasis Hotel in Cancun.

A bantamweight and featherweight champion ‘Galindo de Ouro built an amazing career of 78 fights including 72 wins, with 50 KO’s, four draws and only two defeats. He’s also one of the few vegetarians to have won a world boxing crown.

Dressed in a crisp charcoal gray suit, the eighty three year old maestro gave WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman an impromptu boxing lesson, parrying, ducking weaving and jabbing. All in good fun, because it was a ceremony… which involved only one sort of belting.
