Two engaging members of the RING TELMEX-TELCEL program, namely WBC super featherweight champion Miguel “Alacran” Berchelt, and title contender, Francisco “Bandido” Vargas, will fight for the second time this Saturday, May 11, in Tucson, Arizona.
They first clashed on January 28, 2017, when Vargas was the WBC champion and Berchelt defeated him, ringing the changes, via knockout.
Vargas accepted the defeat but vows to even the score this Saturday.
Both Berchelt and Vargas are heavy hitting all action fighters. And although “Alacran” is the favorite this time around, “Bandido,” is capable of springing an ambush.
Berchelt, 27, arrives to the fight with a 35-1 record, with 31 knockouts, while Vargas, 34, is 25-1-2, with 18 KO`s.
An explosive match in prospect, due to the quality of both fighters, who were members of the RING TELMEX-TELCEL team a few years ago.
