“I have to say, Jacobs is a unique boxer, who has many skills … He is the second middleweight in the world today,” said the Aztec, revealing his respect for “The Miracle Man”.
This fight for the WBA middleweight championship could be enshrined as the fight of the year, while the recent victory of the Aztec Juan Francisco “El Gallo” Estrada over the Thai Srisaket Sor Rungvisai exerts pressure.
But that is a separate issue. Jacobs, a cancer survivor, believes he has the formula to impose himself, the quality, and the spirit, to the point that he proclaimed himself in advance as the number one middleweight in the world.
“I’m ready for this fight, nobody llis exactly alike in the ring, I’m happy to fight in the T-Mobile Arena, Canelo is a great opponent, but here number one is me, I can finish it in both ways,” he said Tuesday for his formal arrival at the City of Sin for the big date on May 4th.
Of course the flags of Mexico and the sounds of the mariachis did not wait when Canelo came in, who no doubt is ready to defeat the American and seek to proclaim his claim as the WBA champion for the second time in his career.
