Indian hard-puncher “Brizz” Brijesh Meena (8-2, 8 KO’s) weighed-in at 75.5 kilos (166.4 pounds) while experienced African warrior Muhamad “Med” Sebyala (19-11-1, 16 KO’s) of Uganda made 71.5 kgs (157.6 lbs) ahead of their clash for the vacant WBA ASIA SOUTH Super Middleweight Title Saturday, April 27, at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, India, a battle televised live in India on Sony Ten 2.
In the co-main event, promising 20-year-old Uzbekistan fighter Ulugbek Sobirov (8-0, 4 KO’s) of the Vladimir Boxing Gym in Malaysia tipped the scales at 69.2 kilos (152.5 lbs) while tough Indian Lion Pardeep Kharera (5-3, 4 KO’s) came in at 68.1 kgs (150.1 pounds) for their non-title super welterweight battle that might not make the distance.
In the evening’s India vs Nepal friendly but rough pro boxing melee, Indian braveheart boxer Manish Harode (1-1-1, 0 KO’s) made 63.2 kgs (139.3 lbs) for his collision against unbeaten 20-year-old train Sanjay Thapa (4-0, 1 KO) of Nepal who easily registered 62.6 kilos (138 pounds). Their action combat is in the hot super lightweight division.
Moreover, hard-hitting Middle Kingdom warrior Yuan Chenghui (袁晨辉) scaled-in at 55.6 kilos (122.5 pounds), against 57.1 kgs (125.8 lbs) recorded by India’s Sandeep Kumar (1-0, 0 KO’s). Their non-title 6-chapter saga is in the featherweight division.

The Brizz Brijesh vs Med Sebyala WBA ASIA SOUTH Super Middleweight rumble tomorrow Saturday, April 27at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, India, is the main event of the 16-bout card produced by Indian promoter Vikas Malik of Hope and Glory Boxing.
Clashes have been paired by international matchmaker Aku Zhang. Fights will be broadcast live on India’s pay-TV sports network Sony Ten 2 TV.
