Brian Ceballo vs. Bakhtiyar Eyubov
Junior Middleweights- 8 rounds
It’s Brooklyn vs Brooklyn in a battle of unbeatens. What a first round as Ceballo shows his tremendous boxing skills and Eyubov shows his toughness as he throws punches from all angles a bit like Ricardo Mayorga. This is a terrific bout.
After two rounds it’s skills versus determination -something has to give.
After 4 rounds of action the MSG fans are really getting into this grudge match. A terrific back and forth fight with Ceballo taking advantage of his longer reach. Eyunov Working hard to get inside and often missing many of his punches.
Round 5. Wow -best round of the fight as both fighters are having their moments and landing very big. A tale of two different fighters both determined to win.
Round 6. Another action packed round with Ceballo landing more and Eyubov maybe landing harder.
Round 7. Another action packed round. The story of the fight besides the reach advantage of Ceballo is that Ceballo’s punches were mostly straight and Eyunov’s punches were wide.
Round 8. These two Brooklyn Warriors would have it no other way but to finish the fight in style. Very good performance by both boxers. I think Ceballo got the better of Eyubov and got a tremendous amount of experience from the fight.
Winner: Brian Ceballo
Brian Ceballo improves to 9-0
