Live championship boxing returns to The Event Center at Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, PA for World Fighting Championships 118on Saturday, Dec. 7. Tickets for the event are $30 (reserved), $50 (premium), $100 (VIP), and $750 (stage table of 10).
“We are excited to bring WFC 118 to Rivers Casino,” WFC President Matt McGovern remarked. “Our last boxing event here featured a great crowd, incredible matchups, and an absolutely electric atmosphere. We are excited to bring some of the country’s top boxers to the Steel City for a night to remember.”
Amateur bouts begin at 7:00 pm with professional bouts following at 8:00 pm.
“This event is one of our guests’ favorites. The last time WFC came to Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, it was a great turnout,”Shannon Redmond, vice president of marketing at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, said. “The Event Center is going to be buzzing with all of the top-tier fighters ready to put on a show.”
The professional bouts include Bill Hutchinson (Pittsburgh, PA)vs. Gabriel Smith (Houston, TX), Kiante Irving (Pittsburgh, PA)vs. Carlos Garcia Hernandez (Puerto Rico), Robert Weisen (Pittsburgh, PA) vs. Lawrence Blakey, Eric Lomax (Pittsburgh, PA) vs. Jabrandon Harris (Bryant, TX), Scott Perhach (Pittsburgh, PA) vs. Rance Ward (Houma, LA), and Randy Wachacha (Durham, NC) vs. James Bryant (Reading, PA).
Paul Palombo (Aliquippa, PA) and Nick Duganier (Cleveland, OH) will face off in an amateur title bout at 165 pounds.
Other amateur bouts include Ricky Carter (Pittsburgh, PA) vs. Hank Gaston (Altoona, PA), Donny Behanna (North Versailles, PA) vs. Rockill Brown (Alliance, OH), Jamar Sherrill Jr. (Pittsburgh, PA) vs. James Ross (Pittsburgh, PA), Alex Harrison (Pittsburgh, PA) vs. Adonis Alcime (Buffalo, NY), Donivel Evans Jr. (Pittsburgh, PA) vs. Jake Lester (Youngstown, OH), and John Demus (Pittsburgh, PA) vs. Cody Smith (Uniontown, PA).
