Errol Spence Jr. & Shawn Porter are Boxing Action Magazine September 2019 Boxers of the Month.

Errol Spence Jr. headlined his second PPV event in 2019 by taking on Showtime Shawn Porter this past Saturday night in California at a soldout / star studded Staples Center.

Spence & Porter did not only jam almost 20,000 fans in the arena, but sold over 300,000 PPV buys. These two young lions put on a show for the ages not only training to the max, but leaving every in the ring. Spence and Porter both came out of the gate throwing heavy artillery. After 12 rounds of action, the fight left all the fans feeling high from there skill and effort.

Porters was relentless and Spence worked the body all night long allowing him to finally take control of the fight in the championship rounds while also scoring a quick knockdown in round 11 that sealed the deal on two of the three judges score cards.

This marks the first time in Magazine history that two boxings in the same fight (not including a Decision Draw) earned the top monthly honor.
