Jermell Charlo is the Boxing Action Magazine December 2019 Boxer of the Month.

After being dominated for much of the fight with the exception of scoring a knockdown in round two against Harrison. Charlo turns the tide in round 11 and basically destroys Harrison with three knockdowns.

Harrison was putting on a clinic, but Charlo’s conditioning and determination proved why lions are king of the jungle.

Wow- what a fight!!!

The night would be complete of course without some controversy because after all this is Boxing. Harrison dominated the fight basically from start to finish but when we look at the judges score cards, he was losing the fight which is a huge disappointment to the sport. Sometimes it feels like Boxing refuses to take a step forward.

If judges are going to go strictly by statistics, why pay them when we can have a Robert do the job?
