The last List we look at today is the Super Flyweights (Jr. Bantamweights) (115 pounds) Top 20.
After it was determined that the weight between Fly (112) and Bantam (118) was to significant, the Super Flyweight (115 pounds)(or Jr. Bantamweight) was created in 1980.
Currently, Srisaket Sor Runguisai sits on top of the Super Flyweight Division with his historic Knockout of Roman Gonzalez. This goes to prove how important the weight divisions are, Roman Gonzalez might be the most dominant boxer we have seen in our generation, but moving from 112 to 115 was his down fall. Fighting bigger men sometimes is simply to much to overcome, three pounds made all the difference in Chocolate’s career. The Monster, Naoya Inoue currently moved up to Bantamweight. Khalid Yafai and Jerwin Ancajas also currently hold titles at Superfly and are looking to make the list of greatest Super Flyweights (Junior Bantamweight).
