1. Naoya Inoue
The Japanese Monster has ran through everybody with the exception of the bigger, crafty and experienced Filipino Flash who gave him a bit of trouble, when diversity presented itself- Inoue still shined. Inoue is the best P4P Boxer since Roman Chocolatito Gonzalez.
2. Errol Spence Jr.
This guy is a monster, combined with his new mastery of boxing and distance, Spence can fight with anyone in the history of this historic welterweight division and do us proud.
3. Canelo Alvarez
Canelo is not only boxings biggest attraction but he is also the most fun to watch boxer ranked in the top 10 pound for pound list. He is currently running through the 168 pound champions like a hot knife thru butter. To no fault of his own, he is fighting in a weak division, last time he fought a first ballot HOFer, he barely got by the 36 year old GGG.
Canelo’s skills, speed, power, combinations, timing and chin seem to only be getting better. He is a true rare Marvel for a guy his size. Many ague he is currently number 1 P4P and the case is getting stronger by the minute.
4. Jose Ramirez
This young humble champion is one of the most underrated boxers today, a win against Josh Taylor will get all the experts to jump on the bandwagon just like they started doing with Inoue a couple years ago.
5. Manny Pacquiao
This old legend is undoubtedly the Bruce Lee and Michael Jordan of boxing, question is, can he continue visiting the secretive foundation of youth. Pac has been in our top 10 longer then many have been alive, other major publications only put him back in after he beat Keith Thurman.
6. Emanuel Navarrete
This young Mexican star came out of nowhere and showed that with proper rest and a good team anything is possible. Hats off to boxings busiest Champion- a true throw back to some of boxing’s greats.
7. Mikey Garcia
Mikey Garcia has all the talent in the world, he has clearly chosen quality over quantity when it comes to stepping in the ring. A true businessman, he looks for the big paydays and would rather sit -stay on the shelf then stay busy. His true and best weight class is yet to be determined as many feel he is caught in no mans land.
8. Jermall Charlo
This young lion has proven all the doubters wrong. His training along with determination and power make him one of the fiercest fighters on the planet.
9. Shawn Porter
If it is possible to reach your 100% potential on fight night, it seems that this experience buck knows how to reach that goal. He is the Pete Rose of boxing, he may not go down as the greatest of all time, but he sure got the most out of his God given ability. A future first ballot Hall of Famer no doubt.
10. Kazuto Ioka
There’s a new sheriff in town and his name is Kazuko Ioka.
11. Roman Gonzalez
Chocolatito known as one of the greatest Boxers we have ever laid our eyes on showed that he still has it by almost stopping Estrada in round 12 of the rematch a couple weeks ago. A true marvel of the sweet science combined with power and action- it can be said that Chocolatito has done as much for the sport as anyone in boxing‘s history including Mike Tyson. His impact on the sport will pay dividends for many decades to come.
12. Vasyl Lomachenko
Loma is starting to show a bit of wear and tear. His footwork combined with power and timing is something most have never seen. He truly is the Ichiro Suzuki of boxing. Look for the younger generation to study his style and may be rewrite the game.
13. Tyson Fury
It might be too soon to say that this giant of a man can compete with anyone in the history of the most fame division in boxing, let’s see how he does against Anthony Joshua before we make the final determination. His footwork for a big man is hard to fathom and his inspiration story is one for the record books.
14. Vergil Ortiz
Oscar’s new asset has crashed the boxing scene in a hard way, his war with Mighty Mo has left a craving to want to see more. Sky’s the limit for this young buck.
15. Gennadiy Golovkin
GGG being very selective as he makes one final stand. His career has been nothing short of legendary, hopefully he knows when to call it quits and puts his promoter hat on full time sooner then later.
16. Terence Crawford
Call it hate if you want, but level of competition does count. Let’s see how this highly rated undefeated champion does against Pacquiao this summer.
17. Josh Taylor
Taylor has been steadily climbing up the list and is a few months away from crashing the top 10 P4P if he can get by Ramirez.
18. Juan Francisco Estrada
This Mexican champion has has been fight like a champion long before he held a single title. Estrada vs Gonzalez 3 coming soon.
19. Teofimo Lopez
Coming of the biggest win of his career, fans can’t wait to see López fight the other 135 pound stars.
20. Gervonta Davis
This mini Mike Tyson is relentless, Tank has the ability and boxing style to take over the sport.
