Adonis Stevenson is making remarkable progress six months on from the fight that left him with life-altering injuries.

The former WBC light-heavyweight champion suffered a knockout defeat to Oleksandr Gvozdyk on December 1, and was hospitalised in the immediate aftermath.

Stevenson was put into an induced coma and operated on, having suffered a sever, traumatic brain injury.

After three weeks, the Canadian came out of the coma and has been recovering in private ever since.

Michel told media before a press conference this week: “I have conversations with Adonis as I had before his accident.

“He moves alone, he eats well. He spends weekends at home [and weekdays at a rehab centre].

“What I am told is that there is still room for improvement, but it is very, very well supervised with therapy at the level of memory or at the physical level. It’s good in there
