Filipino Luisito Espinosa defeated Juan Carlos Ramirez by TKO in the round 11. With this victory he defended the WBC featherweight championship. The fight took place at the County Coliseum in El Paso, Texas. It ended at two minutes 22 seconds, when Referee Laurence Cole stopped the action. The Judges were David Harris, Jerry McKenzie and Gary Ritter.
