Huntington, NY (June 26, 2019) ‘The Fighting Pride of Huntington, New York’ Chris Algieri will host a book signing for ‘The Fighter’s Kitchen’ on Thursday night, June 27 at 7:00 p.m.
The book signing will take place at the Book Revue,313 New York Avenue in Huntington, NY.
Released on June 4 by DK/Penguin Random House to critical acclaim, ‘The Fighter’s Kitchen’ is an outstanding look at healthy and nutritious original recipes developed by Algieri, the former junior welterweight world champion boxer and current top-ten rated contender. Fighting most recently, Algieri stopped England’s Tommy Coyle in the eighth round on June 1 at Madison Square Garden.
In addition to being a world class professional boxer for the last 11 years, Chris has worked in numerous training camps as a clinical nutritionist for many world champion boxers and mixed martial arts stars. He has a bachelor’s degree in healthcare science from Stony Brook University and a master’s degree in clinical nutrition from the New York Institute of Technology.
