Guyana born British fighter Dennis Andries won the WBC light heavyweight championship, after defeating American, J. B. Williamson, by UD. The bout took place in Edmonton, Engalnd. The third man on the ring was Angelo Poletti. The Judges were Tony Castellano, Harry Gibbs and Jean Deswerts.
