Otha Jones lll Vs Matias Arriagada

Argentina’s Matias Arriagada comes in wearing red trunks with silver trim and OJ lll is wearing white trunks with red trim.

Round 1.

Otha Jones Jr. has a terrific round showing off his speed and power. Jones landing a ton of shots on Arriagada. Jones looking for an early KO. Jones also showed off a little bit of his defensive skills towards the end of the round – boy is he fast. Arriagada is taking a pounding looking to land the overhand right.

Round 2.

Jones comes out dominating again, but waiting Arriagada starts landing some very good clean power shots on Jones’s head. This is going to be a very good test for Jones as Arriagada come to RI to fight. Arriagada way have won round 2.

Round 3.

Jones doing a good job of controlling distance and wins the round by landing more. Make no mistake, Arriagada is landing clean power head shots on Jones though.

Round 4.

Another good round for Jones has Jones is feeding Arriagada a lot of leather. Arriagada did land a few good shots including a monster right hand in the middle of the ring. For all the shots Jones has landed, I’m surprised Arriagada hasn’t buckled yet.

Round 5.

The tide has turned a little bit, as Arriagada has become the aggressor walking Jones down now instead of the other way around. Jones looked up at the screen a few times to see the time remaining as he might be starting to get a bit tired.

Round 6.

Jones using his left hand very nicely now, pumping it to the body and then to the head. Arriagada lands a huge left Hook as both boxers go toe-to-toe in the middle of the ring.

Jones being very aggressive in the closing seconds of the fight as Arriagada lands two good left hooks on Jones. Excellent well fought fight by both prize fighters.

All three Judges gave Jones a clean six round sweep.
